Korea won seven gold medals and four silver medals for the overall title at the 8th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, which concluded in Bali, Indonesia on 3 November, 2013. In the overall medal tally, Vietnam clinched three golds, three silvers and five bronzes for the second place, followed by the Philippines with three golds, two silvers and one bronze.
The three Olympians will visit from August 2-4 and will train and share what it means to be a champion with young taekwondo athletes.
This event brought athletes from 18 countries, it is certainly the first of its kind held in Thailand.
The 1st Europe-Asia Intercontinental Taekwondo Championships Moscow, Russia, santioned by the WTF, will be held at USZK-Universal Sport Complex, Moscow Russia on October 12
Pen-ek Karaket (men's 58kg), Chanatip Sonkham (women's 49kg) and Rangsiya Nisaisom (women's 57kg) are the three Thai fighters for the London Games.
