World Taekwondo Federation chief Choue Chung-won presented a black belt and a diploma signifying the much-coveted ninth Dan ranking to Putin during an official visit by the Russian leader to South Korea.
The Taekwondo Promotion Foundation (TPF) plans to hold the 5th World Youth Taekwondo Camp in close cooperation with the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) in 2013. The camp will be held during seven days from on July 22-28, 2013 in Seoul and Muju, Republic of Korea.
WTF President Choue received a certificate appointing him as an honorary consul of Honduras in Seoul from Jae-hyun Bae, deputy minister and chief of protocol of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of Foreign Affairs Minister Byung-se Yun, in a ceremony at the ministry on April 4, 2013.
The equipment donated by the World Taekwondo Federation in Seoul includes 300 mats, 136 guards, 100 protectors and 28 mitts.
The 4th World Youth Taekwondo Camp wrapped up its six-day event in a resounding success in Seoul, Korea on June 24, 2012.
