The event marks the first major step towards qualification for the Rio Olympics, with those ranked in the top six come the final Grand Prix in 2015 guaranteed a place in Brazil.
Other British fighters in the main draw include Olympic champion Jade Jones in the -57kg division, European champion Michael Harvey and London Olympian Martin Stamper (both -68kg), and Bianca Walkden in the +67kg class.
