Matías Rojas died today at the JR Ramos Mejía Hospital in the city of Balvanera, Buenos Aires, Argentina, after fighting for five months.
According to the medical report, Matias who was MasTaekwondo General Manager since 2007, passed away after 7:00 a.m. Buenos Aires time.
Rojas was hospitalized since February after presenting several complications in his health, derived from a benign tumor, which forced him to undergo two operations.
Until the last moment he remained connected and in permanent communication with the team, even during the recent coverage of the World Muju Championship.
Last minute complications generated a sudden and lamentable outcome.
He spent his last moments with her sisters, family and close friends.
Born on April 22, 1978, Matías Rojas joined the MasTKD.com team in 2005 and covered countless major events: World Championships, Pan American Games, Opens, Grand Prix, World Cups and International Camps.
