Successful 2017 U.S. World Open Taekwondo Championship

United States - 2017/03/15 - MasTKD had a conversation with Rick Shin, one of the organizers of the U.S. World Open Taekwondo Championship held on March 3rd and 4th in Portland, which he described as, “simply incredible”.

“Twenty-one countries attended The U.S. World Open Taekwondo Championship”, said Shin exclusively to MasTKD.

He also explained that the invitation was not only for black belts, but for all Taekwondo competitors who wanted to face high level athletes.

The U.S. Open World Taekwondo Championship is held every year in Portland and the 2017 edition was carried out in early March.

One of the characteristics of this event is that is open to competitors of all ages.

“It was amazing! This year’s event was successful and we invite the athletes from the Latin American region to continue coming. The level is increasing every year”, said Rick Shin.
