Oregon, will again be the epicenter of Taekwondo in the United States of America, since there will be the 28th edition of this traditional event.

The 2017 U.S. World Taekwondo Open Championship is organized by the U.S. World Class Taekwondo Association, in charge of Chief Master Rick Shin, current general secretary of PATU.

The event will be held at the Oregon Convention Center in the city of Portland.

The modalities in dispute will be kyorugui (sparring), poomsae (forms), kioppa (breaking) and competition between demonstration teams.

The host hotel is Doubletree Hotel by Hilton Portland.

A new great proposal to start the year 2017 with a first level event, in which the organizational quality goes hand in hand with the high level of sports.
