Eighty international referees are reviewing and updating their knowledge and thirty one are candidates to become International Referees recognized by the WTF.

Sessions are presided by Chakir Chellbat, WTF Referee Committee Chairman; Philippe Bouedo, 2016 Taekwondo Olympic Games Committee Chairman in Rio; Eil-chul Kim, WTF Deputy Secretary General; Rick Shin Executive Director Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) CEO; Myun Chan Kim, Referee Committee Chairman- PATU, and it is in progression with entire fluency.

The participants are emphasizing their training on the new sparring regulations that have been already put in practice and will take place in the next 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
