The president of the World Taekwondo Federation, Dr. Chungwon Choue and the President of the Chinese Taekwondo Association, Li Qiang, sent a statement to all MNAs inviting to participate in this important event, and describing in detail the awards for the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

Whoever gets the highest place on the podium will win the gold medal, the certificate and a prize of $ 5,000.

Meanwhile the athlete who gets the second place will be awarded with the Silver Medal, a certificate and the sum of USD 3,000.  While third place will receive a bronze medal, certificate, and USD 1,000.

In this way Taekwondo would enter for the first time (not including the League in Mexico and Russia) in what might be called a “professional circuit” through a monetary incentive granted by the WTF.
