The Iranian Poomsae men’s team was crowned Asian champion in the third edition of the Poomsae Championshis, relegating to second place the South Korea national team who got 52 points.
Iran reached the top of the podium after accumulating a total of 65 points after getting on Sunday May 25 , eleven medals (5 gold , 3 silver and 3 bronze). While Korea had to settle for second place when computing 52 points after hitting seven medals (5 gold and 2 silver).
In the third position, the host, Uzbekistan, with forty points, the product having won nine medals (2 gold and 7 bronze).
In the last edition held in Vietnam, “Ho Chi Minh 2012″, Iran got the third position behind Korea which got the title and Vietnam which was runner up.
The tournament has brought together 542 athletes from 34 countries.
