New sensing socks must be used starting next March

The Daedo Sensing socks that most athletes are using now, except the ones used in London 2012, will soon be useless.  Starting next March, in all WTF sanctioned events, including the Junior Championships and the Qualifying Tournament for YOG Nanjing 2014; a new version will be used. masTaekwondo.com ESPAÑOL


As explained by the World Taekwondo Federation itself, in the next Qualifying Tournament for the Olympic Youth Games Nanjing 2014 and the 10th WTF World Taekwondo Youth Championship, the Daedo 2G Black version of sensing socks will not be used as they will be discontinued.  Additionally, WTF recommends not using that version in any of the WTF sanctioned events from March 1, 2014 onwards.

The information comes out just weeks before these junior events and it is obvious that the Spanish company will have great demand of the sensing socks new version.

•        Blue WTF logo

•        Same version as the one used in London 2012 Olympic Games

•        For better image and functionality

•        The use of this version is recommended in WTF official competitions from March 1, 2014 onwards.

 

Latest version:  4G Grey (2013)

•        Grey textile

•        3-color WTF logo

•        With special chip to check authenticity of e-foot protector

•        The use of this version is recommended in WTF official competitions from March 1, 2014 onwards.

  1. VP of TrueScore stating that there is no difference in sock, Black vs. Grey. And that they gave out the grey ones at the Olympics. Both sock are the same. See video here.
