According to the communication masTaekwondo.com had with the World Taekwondo Federation, they informed that WTF President Dr. Chungwon Choue and WTF Secretary General Jean Marie Ayer are already in St. Petersburg.

In TK -5 each team is formed by five competitors, a substitute, a coach and a physical trainer.  TK-5 is a system in which the team which scores more points in two rounds is the winner.

The system is two rounds of five minutes and a minute of rest. During the first five minutes, each athlete must take action for one minute. After a minute of rest and during the subsequent round it begins an unlimited relay competition where coaches, according to their strategies, decide who enters and who leaves the combat. The only condition for the relay, is that the athlete must have made at least three attacks.

The weight parameter should be as follows:

Male:   Total weight of 6 athletes (5 + 1 substitute) 432 kg or less.  If the team does not have a substitute, the total weight of 5 athletes should be 360 kg or less.

Female:  Total weight of 6 athletes (5 + 1 substitute) should be 366 kg or less. If the team does not have a substitute, the total weight of 5 athletes should be 305 kg or less.
