Taekwondo was the only martial art participating in the 9th edition of the Pacific Mini Games. This event took place between 9 and 11 September in Wallis and Futuna (French overseas collectivity) and scored points for the WTF Ranking as G-1.

The first Pacific Games were first held in Fiji in 1963 and since that date they are held every four years in a country or territory member of the Pacific Games.

This year´s edition took in place in Willis and Futuna at the Kafika Hall, with the following categories:  Male: -54, -58, -63, -68, -74, -80, -87, +87 kg.  Female:  -46, -49. -53, -57, -62, -67, -73, +73 kg..

The participating teams were the representative of New Caledonia, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Tahiti, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Wallis and Futuna , Guam and Vanuatu.

Mr. Phillippe Bouedo and Mr. Olivier Vegi were the technical delegates of the Organizing Committee.
