New President for the Uruguayan Federation

The Uruguayan Federation of Taekwondo (FUT) held its authorities election where Conrado Gonzalez was elected as the new president.



“The new Board took office at the end of last month, more precisely on December 27, 2012”, informed Cristina Rufener, Member of the FUT to


Conrado Gonzalez used to be the Secretary General of this Federation during the period in which Eduardo Labadie was the leader and in repeatedly ocassions he occupied delegate functions of the national team in official competitions.


Meanwhile Labadie will continue working within the Pan American Taekwondo Union, of which he is part as Council Member and certainly he will continue supporting and collaborating with the National Federation where he was president for many years.


The Executive Committee of the Uruguayan Federation of Taekwondo was formed as follows:

Secretary General: Gonzalo Silveira


Treasurer: Taemin Lee
