The World Taekwondo Federation has issued a statement were Dr. Choue, president of the WTF, expresses its deep concern at the loss of this member of the Executive Council of the World Federation.
The statement of the owner of “The World” was addressed to the Secretary General and Executive Board members and begins like this: “It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Coleman (Cheng Yeong) Lee, member of the WTF Council.”
“Coleman was a great pioneer of taekwondo, an extraordinary leader on the WTF Council, and a kind and wonderful friend to us all. Chinese Taipei Taekwondo would not be where it is today without his dedication and leadership, nor would the WTF.” Expressed with sorrow Dr. Chungwon Choue.
“No one could fill the void of this gentleman and brother of the taekwondo family. He will be greatly missed.” Concluded the WTF President.
