The last time masTaekwondo.com had a chance to see and talk with Professor Blanco, was during the South American Taekwondo Championships held this year in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The IR was suffering a serious illness which, according to relatives, faced with great nobility.
After hearing the sad news, we communicated with Master Hung Ki Kim, President of the Venezuelan Federation of Taekwondo who told us in desmay about the news: “It’s unfortunate what happened. Although he was suffering from a painful disease, we did not expect his departure so soon. This for us is a great loss, irreplaceable and irrecoverable. ”
Master Kim also told us that Martin Blanco is part of the history of Taekwondo in Venezuela, as he was the founder of the Tae Kwon Do Association of Guárico State, co founder of the Venezuelan Federation of Tae Kwon Do and also a member of the National Technical Commission.
