On March 24 of last year (2011) we published the news regarding that Sucre was confirmed as the venue for the next continental Championships (View Note in Spanish).
Sucre is the constitutional capital of Bolivia and capital of the department of Chuquisaca. In Sucre you can find all Bolivian history since the earliest origins to the present day. It is situated in the province of Oropeza Department of Chuquisaca, at the bottom of the hills of Sica Sica and Churuquella, Eastern mountain range of the Andes. Sucre‘s height is of 2,800 meters, a factor to be considered by the national teams that do not have proper acclimatization.
MasTaekwondo.com in full coordination with the Bolivian Federation and the Pan American Taekwondo Union, will arrive in Sucre days before the start of the event with the largest team we have presented in a championship so far.
As usual, masTaekwondo.com followers will have access to live video, online results, hundreds of photographs, exclusive interviews and more surprises ahead as we go closer to the date of this Continental Championship, which like that performed in Monterrey, Mexico in 2010, will also feature its Pan American Poomsae Championship, Pan American Championship of Para-Taekwondo and Pan American Taekwondo Open.

Recently we interviewed the President of the Bolivian Federation of Taekwondo, Alejandro Mansilla assuring us: “Our goal is to make the best Pan American Championship of all history” (View Full Note in Spanish).
Days before the continental, the General Assembly of PATU will take place, which will elect a new president or revalidate the current.
