The WTF held the opening ceremony for “WTF Referee-Coach Joint Training Camp for London 2012 Olympic Games” at New City Garden Hotel in Suzhou, China on June 10 with the guests including Mr Choue Chung won, the President of the WTF, members of the executive committee, international referees and national team coaches all around world for the first time in the WTF’s history.
President Choue made a speech on the podium. “Let’s do our best from where we are to hold a great game.”
Yu Zaiqing, IOC member also congratulated on the occasion. “I am honored to be part of this event. This joint camp is a great idea to prep for the Olympics that is right around the corner.”
On the IOC member’s participants, Seo Jung Gang, WTF game division, said “It is very encouraging as well as a rare thing that an IOC member paid a visit to the camp. And it’s great that everybody here is taking this camp so seriously.”
Indeed. The eagerness to learn heated up the room.
