The WTF announced the dates for the next year’s WTF World Taekwondo Championships to be held in Mexico at the Committee meeting held at New City Garden Hotel in Suzhou, China; May 13-19.
To make it official, the governing body still needs approval from the organizing committee of Puebla but the WTF shows confidence. Moon Dae Won, a member of the executive committee said “Everything is ok. All we need to do is just to wait for the committee to say ok. There’s no reason why they should say no.”
The time table for the next Championships will be somewhat unique: quarter finals will be finished by the 4th day of the completion and the participants will have a day off to fight in the semi finals and the finals on the last day.
