1988 Olympic medalist Debra Holloway passes away

USA Taekwondo is saddened to learn of the death of Debra Holloway, a silver medalist in taekwondo at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea.

 


Holloway was a six-time national champion, winning the title in four different weight classes from 1976-1987. She also won the 5th Pan Am Taekwondo Championships held in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in 1986, took bronze at the 6th Pan Am Taekwondo Championships in Lima, Peru, in 1988, won a silver medal at the 1985 World Tournament in Seoul, and participated in the 1987 World Championships in Barcelona, Spain.
