Re-scheduling of YOG Qualification Tournament Tijuana

The WTF has finally decided to organize WTF Qualification Tournament for Youth Olympic Games for two (2) days on March 3-4 instead of three (3) days on March 3-5.

I am writing to you to inform you that the WTF has finally decided to organize WTF Qualification Tournament for Youth Olympic Games for two (2) days on March 3-4 instead of three (3) days on March 3-5.

As we already notified in our letter of January 29, 2010, we have been carefully calculating required match time based on the submitted entries and finally decided to return to the original plan of two-day competition to provide the athletes with one full day rest before starting the World Junior Championships. The detailed timetable has also been amended according to this change, and a copy is attached herewith for your due information.

I would appreciate your kind attention to this matter and hope that this change will not cause any logistic inconveniences in your participation.

In addition, please be advised that the Repechage matches will be held after the final match of pertinent weight division to give ample rest to the athletes who advanced to Repechage before the Repechage match.  The WTF Demonstration Team will present performances during the lunch break and also right before the Repechage matches.  For your information, Repechage matches are taking place only at the WTF Qualification Tournament.

Anti-doping education will be conducted at the head of team meeting for 8th WTF World Junior Taekwondo Championships at 15:00-18:00 on March 5, 2010.

I thank you in advance for your continued support and cooperation for the successful organization of the WTF Qualification Tournament and the 8th WTF World Junior Championships.
.
Sincerely yours,
Jin Suk Yang
Secretary General
